What is NAMIWalks?

NAMIWalks is the largest mental health event series in the United States. NAMIWalks is an annual fundraiser walkathon that takes place over the course of several months in more than 150 locations in the country. These walks promote awareness of mental health to reduce stigma, raise funds for NAMI’s free mental health programs, and build community to let people know they are not alone.

Peer To Peer Class

NAMI Peer-to-Peer Course is a free, 8 session educational program for adults with mental illness who are looking to better understand their condition and journey toward recovery. Taught by a trained team of people who’ve been there, the program includes presentations, discussion and interactive exercises. Everything is confidential, and NAMI Jacksonville never recommends a specific medical therapy or treatment approach.
