Mental health is just as important to our overall health and quality of life as our physical health is.
Our mental health affects how we think, feel, and act. Mental illnesses involve changes in thinking, mood, and/or behavior that can impact a person’s day-to-day living and their ability to function.
Given that 1 in 5 American adults experiences some form of mental illness in any given year, we all need to have a better understanding about mental health.
